Privacy Policy

We built this site to be cookieless and tracker-free. This page explains what little data we do handle, why, and the rights you have over it.

Last updated: [Month YYYY]

1. Who is responsible

The party responsible for data processing on this website (the "controller" under the GDPR) is:

[Company / sole trader name]
[Street address]
[Postal code, City, Country]
Email: privacy@siteflare.eu

Full company identification is on our Imprint page.

2. Our cookieless, tracker-free approach

This website sets no cookies and loads no third-party trackers, analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or external fonts. Nothing on these pages profiles you or follows you across the web. You should not see a cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to for ordinary browsing.

3. Server logs

Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider may automatically record technical request data — such as your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request, the referring page, and your browser's user-agent — in standard server logs.

  • Purpose: operating the site securely, diagnosing faults, and preventing abuse
  • Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
  • Retention: logs are kept only as long as needed for these purposes, then deleted or anonymised

Our hosting is provided by [hosting provider], acting as our processor under a data-processing agreement.

4. Forms you submit

If you use the free-audit form or the contact form, we process only the information you choose to enter so we can respond to you.

  • Free audit: the website URL you submit, and any contact detail you add
  • Contact: your name, email address, and message

Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract, and answering your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We do not use this information for marketing unless you separately and explicitly ask us to.

[Describe where form submissions are delivered and stored.]

5. Newsletter & growth tools

We only add you to a newsletter if you ask us to. Where we set up newsletter or analytics systems for a client's own website, that client is the controller for their audience's data; this policy covers only siteflare.eu itself.

6. Sharing your data

We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising. We share data only with the processors strictly needed to run the site (such as our host and email provider), each bound by a data-processing agreement, and where the law requires it.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR (and equivalent UK law) you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@siteflare.eu or use our contact form.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
